Sousuke has a tough exterior, almost always scowling when he's out in public. He's untrusting of people, especially authoritive figures such as police officers, and will not hesitate to backtalk when he's under scrutiny by somebody of a higher power. Since he had to adapt to a homeless lifestyle at a young age, he grew up quite fast, and now takes pride in being steady in his life, thanks to help of his boss.

He's quiet and stoic, but easily pushed out of his comfort zone when things don't pan out as expected, and if you're around him long enough, it's easy to see past the rugged exterior to the caring individual who would do anything to make sure that everybody around him was safe and comfortable and safe.
