Shaman of the Moth Tribe, L̶͓̈́õ̷̫̯͝ͅy̵̨̖̘͑̔̏a̴͉͍͂͝l̵̳͕͎̍ follower of the Radiance

Personality:

Novin is not much of a talker, though his voice is slightly deeper in range. Most of the time, he attempts to keep emotion from his tone. Even so, the soul trapped within his staff can shift according to his emotions. He is one of the few of the moth’s who still pray to the Radiance and ask for her mercy for their betrayal. In return for the glimpses of light he receives, he attempts to spread her memory (and in turn the infection) to those of Hallownest. It pains him, however, to see the destruction that his matriarch spreads, causing him great sorrow when looking at any bug who has been infected. This is often enough to break his mask by causing him to cry, forcing him to avoid these creatures.

Fears:

His own doubts have begun to grow about the Radiance as he watches the infection plague the minds of many. He fears that one day she will find these doubts and break his mind as well. And so, he keeps his emotions under wraps as much as possible to avoid that chance.

Home:

Novin travels throughout Hollownest, never in the same place for too long so that he does not have to bear witness to the infection’s destruction. He can most often be found in the Resting Grounds, however, attempting to relax from his work.

Attacks:

Novin is a powerful mage, sending out attacks of white hot soul from his staff. He fires star like balls of soul to trip or knock down his enemies, before releasing a mist that is intended to cloud the mind. Should he charge this ability, the mist will cling to the enemy’s body and drain them for a short period of time. He is weak without his staff, but will duck down and spin his legs in order to trip up anyone close to him.
