Likes: Candy, sweets, adventure, comedies, cooking, jump-rope, flowers, and speaking German.

Dislikes: Speaking English, studying, waking up early, bitter foods, being alone, and confined spaces.

Personality: Yatchi is a very upbeat and friendly person. He is almost always found in a jolly mood and is occasionally seen jumping in joy. However, he's rarely understood by the others that he interacts with due to him almost only speaking German. Despite this, Yatchi appears to understand English perfectly, leading some of the other characters to wonder if  he's just pretending not to know English. Yatchi is friendly to almost everyone that he interacts with, but can get serious if his friends are in danger. However, he does have a bad habit of treating dangerous situations as games.

Home: Animal Planet: Miniman Town

History: Yatchi was born and raised in Miniman Town. He has an older cousin, Patchi, who also lives in town. Due to growing up around parents that spoke German, Yatchi is fluent in the language and prefers it over English, which he understands but refuses to speak normally (which is difficult since German is a very rare language on this planet). At a young age he met Sakura, who knows German herself, and befriended her. Eventually Yatchi became an apprentice to Sakura and began joining her on all kinds of wacky adventures. Sakura also designed his ear-clips, which turn into guns and bombs that Yatchi can use in battles.

Current-Bio: Yatchi currently lives in Miniman Town. He goes to school and is two grades below the main characters. He's usually found around Sakura and her friends, but can also be found around Telepathy and Patchi. He usually tags around for Sakura's adventures, but occasionally joins the other characters on their adventures when Telepathy is there. He also has mastered a transformation into a stronger form that he can use in fights. Later in the story he is occasionally heard saying things in English.

Meta-History: Yatchi was created when I was in 8th grade and is very directly inspired by Momiji Sohma  from Fruits Basket, which I was reading at the time. Fruits Basket was one of the first manga I read, and my middle school had of the volumes so my friends and I all read it. My favorite part of the story was always how the characters turned into animals, and Momiji was my  favorite since he was a rabbit. However, Yatchi also has a more powerful form that was inspired by  Kyo's true form, but unlike Kyo, Yatchi doesn't lose control of himself in this form (normally I would have drawn this form and linked it to this bio, but I still don't 100% know what I want it to look like so that will have to wait). Honestly though, Yatchi is pretty different from Momiji outside of being a yellow rabbit that knows German. These days, having a character that speaks a real world language (other than English for obvious reasons) in a setting like this is...very strange and most of my characters that "speak a non-English language" have been rebranded to speak a made-up in-universe language, but Yatchi remains a German rabbit because it would change too much of his character to change this.

Relationships with Other Characters:

Telepathy: Yatchi gets along well with Telepathy and likes to share sweets and flowers with her. He's aware she can't understand German, but continues doing so, occasionally attempting to teach her words.

Sakura: Yatchi and Sakura get along well due to Sakura knowing enough German to converse with him. Yatchi is Sakura's apprentice and enjoys going on adventures with her.

Ramzee: Yatchi enjoys hanging out with Ramzee despite having very different personalities.

Patchi: Yatchi and Patchi are cousins. They are very close and have a sibling-like relationship.

Celestria: Yatchi likes hanging out with Celetria and considers her to be a friend.

Sylvia: Yatchi wasn't present for the Silver Serpent story and thus has always seen Sylvia as a friend.
