Tyrant Vianel Kyanlazye

Vianel is a Dragonoid, one of the mutated descendants of modern humanity after a phenomenon called the Howl changed life on earth forever. Tyrant is a title in this case; usage shifted back to the original meaning with a few centuries of linguistic drift (although she certainly qualifies for the current meaning...). She rules over the city-state of Reilenth, in what was once South Carolina, and was once a member of its council (where she intends to return once her reign as Tyrant ends in a year).

She's... not a great person. She is prone to making decisions in anger then regretting it and is generally pretty harsh and abrasive, even to people she likes. She's competent at governance, yes, but she has a personal vendetta against the Grinning Cult as she believes that they are responsible for the disappearance of her wife, and it makes her more prone to escalation than she would normally be. Not great when combined with unlimited power!
