Sprout is a soft little puppy who mysteriously grows sprouts like fur, and then when they are ready to grow alone they drop off and plant themselves into the earth. This whole process is painless and he is quite motherly to the sprouts, when he feels that they're mature he finds one of his spots and lets them grow in tiny bunches he calls 'families'. Hope likes having him around and she has him as a 'deputy' to her duties.

He's a very nice and soft puppy, and he likes to trot around the meadow sniffing flowers and rolling in grass. He loves Hope very much, and sometimes follows her around as she patrols her land just to keep her safe.
