Toxic Slime

Toxic Slime are more aggressive than the regular Slime counterparts, often actively hunting prey instead of waiting for it to stumble in. As  such, novice adventurers are advised to avoid known habitats. As their  name would suggest, their gelatinous form is highly toxic and can  incapacitate a person on touch. While fatal if untreated, death itself  comes slow, allowing an antidote to by made by a skilled alchemist if  the core can be obtained as a key reagent.
