Clyde Belros

What happens when someone tries to uncover your prestigious city's darkest secrets? You have to get rid of them of course. This is what the Belros family did to their own, bastard son, Claud. Claud was a scholar, a nice, quiet, unassuming guy, who had a passion for researching language, ciphers and codes. He a strained relationship to most of his family, growing up under a spiteful father and a resentful mother, the only one he was close with was his older sister, Lana. The two were practically inseparable, that is until Claud started to stumble too deep into into conspiracy. 17 years ago he went missing from the magical city Kailen. 2 months later, he was prematurely pronounced dead.

2 years ago, Clyde showed up.

Clyde's whole life is fuzzy. He's pretty open about not remembering anything about his life before the last 2 years. Clyde is a man who seems to completely lack inhibitions, he's loud, impulsive, and a bit of a coward. He was taken in by the University, under the watchful eye of a miss Celestine Graves, a cruel woman who sees something in Clyde that she can't afford to let go. He's had to undergo her private classes in attempt to socialize and condition him, with mixed results. He's become good friends with the University's librarian, Eustice, and another professor, Aria.

After becoming acquainted with 3 new students, the newly formed party uncovers a mystery in the city, that Clyde is unwittingly very involved with. He learned that his own memories are being wiped regularly by Graves and the headmistress, and that the very thought of trying to run away from the school makes him literally ill. But now that the rest of the party has gotten involved, he doesn't want them to get dragged down with him. He just wants to know what's going on, and who he can trust.
