A hardworking and dedicated griffon rider from Tähdet. Starling was taken in by the Perhe after being found in the mountains as a child, recently revived and without any memories. He has recently learned that he is Xocrian, born into the infamous house Starla - one member of which was responsible for the death of Padwell’s beloved Prince Ohtli.

- Completed the Plunge ceremony on August 29th, 503.
- Underwent the Vuori Lahja for a week in August, 504.
- Does not like hearing talk of necromancy. His greatest fear is getting revived a second time and losing all his memories again.

Savi Rupikonna
[ Adoptive mother ]Starling’s adoptive mother. Took care of him after he was revived and had only just arrived in High Heart, and the two have been incredibly close since. Trusts and respects her more than anyone else. Got a lot of his grumpiness from her.
Meliora Luna Starla
[ Biological mother ]Starling’s biological mother. After she orchestrated their kidnapping and dragged them to Xocrium against their will, he isn’t the fondest of her. Before his death and revival, he looked up to her as an inspirational figure. In later years their relationship soured, as Meliora did not support his wishes to join the Divsiion as an Ash, afraid that his injured leg would be a dangerous liability on the job. This would eventually push him into running off to High Heart to try to prove himself, a quest which ended in his death...
Meinhold Brighthelm-Starla
[ Biological father ]Starling wasn’t the happiest to learn that his biological father was a Xocrian dragonling and part of the feared Division of Feathers. While his personality turned out to be much gentler than his intimidating appearance would suggest, Meinhold did still participate in Starling’s kidnapping and forcing him to remain in Xocrium.
