Detective Graves. Frequently goes by his last name instead of Lance. Assigned to the case of the missing teenager, Newt. After no leads on the case, the teenager's best friend, Harley comes running into his office, out of breath. A clue had been found but Harley made him swear to secrecy about the clue. Ends up going on some sort of strange adventure with Newt and Harley, trying to get to the bottom of a mystery.

Graves is known as a good detective who usually relies on his gut above all else. Has a great sense of intuition and constantly shows it off with the various cases he's been on. Even though he loves being a detective and investigating crimes, he's gotten to a point where he's frequently tired of the late nights and rough cases. He has an addiction to coffee and is frequently seen with a cup of the steaming hot liquid. Prefers it as dark as he can get it with nothing added in.
