- The main focus of Gaist's travels is getting treasure like ancient relics and other fancy stuff, but they can't help getting mesmerised by the surrounding world, like exotic animals and gorgeous landscapes.

Gaist's parents abandoned them in a forest far away from civilization when they were little. They were found by a herd of kirins and they took them in. They adopted Gaist and raised him. They don't have any memories of their real parents, but they're not bothered by it, they don't want to know anything about them anyway. They looked very different from the ponies living at the village, but it didn't seem to bother others at all and they quickly became friends with other kids living there. They had 2 best friends that always sticked with them. All three of them dreamed of exploring the world and going on adventures. When they were old enough to leave the village they lived in, they decided to start traveling. They visited a lot of places, discovered some places themselves but also had a lot of fun. One adventure will never leave their mind - they found an abandoned mineshaft and decided to explore it. Suddenly, everything started collapsing. They all got crushed by rocks, Gaist was the only one that survived, they lost their left back leg though. They spent several days looking for an exit. After finally making their way out of this hellhole and spending another couple of days looking for signs of civilization. They managed to find a small village in the mountains where they could get help and some rest in a hospital. There, they met and exchanged a couple of words with Strawberry Kisses, who worked there as a nurse. He offered Gaist to stay at his place for a while, because they didn't have a place to stay at. Gaist didn't think much of it and agreed. They enjoyed their stay there, Strawberry was very nice and didn't ask too many questions. After some time living with him, they decided to move out to a part of the village that was located inside the mountain, in a cave.
Gaist didn't quit traveling and "going on adventrues but they're much more careful then they were before. They're also not bringing anyone with them, they don't want to repeat their mistakes. Other than that, they live a peaceful life in the cave village.
