Fiery Midnight's older wizard brother. Used to be a prince but gave up that life to be a traveling performing magician after their kingdom was destroyed. For years, Zaphyr didn't even know of Fiery's whereabouts while they were separated, but he was on his mind the whole time. Zaphyr is very famous and well known for his extravagant magic shows. He is calm and laid-back, and at times serious (though not nearly as serious as before). Despite that, he still speaks very politely and proper.
Zaphyr excels in wind and air magic especially, and dabbles in illusions. His skills are more versatile and profound than Fiery's, which Fiery is jealous of. Zaph loves his little brother and treasures any time they get to spend together, in contrast to how cold and distant he used to be in their adolescent years. He tries his best to jog Fiery's memory of their past and their family when they eventually reunite. They often write letters to each other since they now live separate lives, but Fiery tries to catch one of Zaphyr's shows when he can.
