Occupation: She’s still figuring that one out. Trainer for now.

Appearance: Lori is 5’6, though she often wears boots with heels giving her a slightly taller appearance. Her hair is dyed purple and is naturally a dark brown. Her favorite colors are purple and yellow/gold so that tends to be the color scheme she typically wears. 

Personality: Lori is a fairly optimistic person who gets excited quite easily. Her main goal is life is to live happily and right now she’s just trying to figure out how to do that. That said, trying new things makes her nervous so this whole experience is a bit overwhelming for her. She also doesn’t really like being recognized either from her own child acting career or as her mother’s daughter, and is hoping that by starting her journey in Alcora, she can avoid any sort of recognition. How feasible that is, she’s not sure, but it’s worth a shot. Lori takes great comfort in the presence of her partner, Nightlight the Morelull, and even though she can only understand bits and pieces of what he’s saying, she can always tell when he’s cheering her on.

Bio: Born and raised in Virbank City, Lori is the daughter of famous Pokestar Studios star, Elena Holst. She spent much of her younger years around the studio and even did a little acting as a child. However, as she grew older, Lori quickly came to realize that acting was not something she was really passionate for, but she struggled to find another career she wanted to pursue. 

After expressing these feelings to her parents, they suggested she become a Pokémon trainer in hopes that regularly working alongside them would help Lori figure out exactly what she wants to do in life. She had already bonded quite well with a Morelull she’d had since she was ten, so her parents thought maybe being a trainer was the right path.

Due to Lori and her mother’s fame, they decided it was best to send her somewhere else outside of Unova. After a bit of deliberating, it was decided she’d start her journey in Alcora. Thus, Lori has now taken up residence in Lemonboro in hopes of getting a starter from Professor Maple.

She has brought her partner, Nightlight, with her but he is there purely for moral support and won’t be doing any battling.

Nightlight: Nightlight appearance wise looks like your typical Morelull except for a small gold ribbon on one of his mushroom branches. Originally born to a breeder in the Alola region, he’s been a companion to Lori since she was a young child. Lori’s parents got him for her due to her intense fear of the dark, hence Morelull's nickname. As a result of this, Lori started to take Nightlight anywhere with her if she was feeling nervous. Her adventures in Alcora are no exception. 

Important to note though is that Nightlight is not battle trained at all. He came from a breeder that specifically raises Pokémon to be the companions of young children like Lori, so while he’s protective of her, his fighting skills are very lacking.
