he's an edgelord demon that uses incense and oils to set people on fire. what a good guy.
ignis, down to the essentials, is a generally friendly demon, and guides people through forests and dangerous trails (reasons being weather, bandits, etc) so they can get out alive. with others of his kind, he's able to assist and get assistance in most spots of the forest where he resides. however, since ignis is an Influence, his biggest trait in influencing is trust. he gains people's trust and either sends them on their way or kills them for food. the forest has plenty of other things that his kind could kill (like bandits!); yet, far-and-wide, the most popular motto they've adopted from humanity is "work smarter, not harder."
the basic rundown of his "species" is that they use incense that they stick in their tufts of fur, as well as oils, to set living things on fire. excluding plants. and usually people. especially people. yay!
