Very bipolar, sometimes he can be childish and happy, other times brutal, sometimes lazy and relaxed, and other times hardworking and strict. Most of the time he just keeps a neutral / straight face.

Ben absolutely loves the sea and ocean, he's had a fascination with it since a very young age. He loves to look at fish and yet refuses to eat fish, he loves skipping pebbles, and he likes the feel of sailing and adventuring on ships- But above all, he loves swimming. He enjoys the outdoors and how beautiful the natural world looks.

Surprisingly, although he's a pirate, he hates the sight of blood- Most likely because he's still a kid. Despises water pollution above all. Hates people who underestimates his sword skill just because he's a kid. Hates being teased.

Ben's real name was Benjamin, and he used to live in a fancy mansion by the sea as a child. He was born with 1 blind eye and since other kids would make fun of him for it, his father made him a simple eyepatch. His father was also a ship captain of a very lavish cruise, and since he was very fascinated with the ocean, so did Ben. Ben's father, or Benjamin, at the time, taught Ben nearly everything he knows about the ocean, currents, ships, etc. he knows today. His mother was also very loving and sweet, and a wonderful cook. She also enjoyed sewing and knitting, and made Ben a small plus green-white fish. (He still has it to this day and often times sleeps with his toy, even though it's childish and he knows- Then again, he is a child). One day when his father decided to take his family on a short vacation on Ben's father's ship, as the sun was setting and the seas were calm, suddenly a missile was launched at the ship and hit the sides. The ship sunk and Ben's mother and father weren't able to get on a lifeboat in time- they sunk and died with the ship. Ben on the other hand, survived with some other passengers on the crew. Knowing that the missile was obviously shot by the government/sea police, Benjamin at the time shortened his name to simply Ben and refuses for anyone to call him Ben. Returning home, he packed all his stuff and set out to find a know pirate and request to be a part of their crew. Becoming a crewmember on the ship, he now only is willing to raid government ships or ships that has ties with the government. He refuses to raid regular ships. And although he will raid ships, he never keeps more money than that of which he needs to survive, and never takes part in the killing.
