Bio
Born in one of many mountainous worlds colonised by Dwarves, Kalen was raised in a family of moon miners and found a deep interest in animals, about how they survived after thousands upon thousands of years. After studying deeply and receiving his PhD, it didn't take long for his career to begin and his travels around the cosmos continued for decades, assisting his fellow dwarves in their efforts whenever alien wildlife got in the way of important business. The occasional tooth or claw staying close to him to remember his discoveries, even as he arrived as his latest assignment: Deep Rock Galactic, and the world of Hoxxes IV.

Well experienced with the mining efforts of many dangerous planets, Kalan's time in the world has gifted him immense wisdom and cunning at the cost of frequent tiredness. When presented with a sample of Fauna, he'd happily tell you what they are, and why they look the ways they do, even when presented with something new, an excited hypothesis will more then likely be made.
