Profile
The ACU project had a single goal: create a self aware robot with morals. You might be thinking, wouldn't this just end in something similar to Terminator? Somewhat.
The project suffered again and again from time constraints to financial troubles to the head director's son contracting a terminal disease.
Every robot they ever built was a failure.
Until...Ark.
At first glance, it appeared as if they did it, finally, a self aware machine that had no intention nor thought to harm humanity.
Behind the scenes...a much more morbid picture was painted.
The head Director's son, 'AJ', was going to die. Everybody knew it. And even though he denied it, saying this was going to be over soon, he knew he was going to meet his end.
So...the head director planned to spare AJ from a painful death, and one night while he slept in his hospital bed, he siphoned his soul out...and put it into the machine.
AJ may have lost his memories, all of them, including who he was, but he lives on inside Ark.
