Lambda, real name Violette Dupont, is a game developer who quietly makes small games to amuse herself and publishes them online when she feels satisfied. Online, she uses he/him pronouns in order to allow herself more respect; offline, she doesn't venture out unless she has hired a male proxy to communicate with others, and uses her true identity with she/her and he/him pronouns.

She is mostly afraid due to a previous ex-friend who had stolen her work, edited it, and gained fame off of her work. As a result, she has hidden herself behind an alias and begun to portray herself as male, making her own little games, and wearing a mask so that people will never hurt her again.

Some people rightfully come to the conclusion that she is a lesbian narrating her own experiences within her games; however, due to her fear, she cannot respond to them or confirm them without panicking.
