Amy is a common pegasus who has been fascinated by modern fashion since she was little, as a teenager she took part in a fashion contest, but as much as she liked to design clothes, she was aware that she was bad at it. On the same day, one of the managers told her that the catering hairdresser was missing so she asked her to do a special hairstyle for the other contestants. When the contest ended there were more ponies fascinated by the different hairstyles the contestants had than the dresses. There she got her CM, when she became a famous hairdresser she felt stressed by all that, so she read in a newspaper about the Sunshinado kingdom, which was described as quiet, with little population and a friendly environment in which all the ponies lived happily and free, without rules that restrict freedom. Upon reading that, she decided to move there and was well received by Princess Sunshine and Prince Tornado. Now she is a happy hairdresser who cuts without having to be harassed.
