Carmine Cutlery

🍷 Carmine is a pegasus whose great grandmare was a zebra, giving her some partially striped fur. She was born and raised in the capital city of Canterlot, making her familiar with large cities and the prim and proper lifestyle of most ponies there. She has never seen the countryside before but has been to Cloudsdale a few times to visit family. To learn more of her zebra heritage, she once traversed the Everfree Forest to meet Zecora. 

🍽️ Carmine works and found her special talent in being a waitress. Each year she serves drinks, appetizers, and other confections at the Grand Galloping Gala, but more often can be found at smaller parties throughout the year. She has never been to a very laid back party and usually serves for ponies who are richer or of higher status. At this point she is completely desensitized to seeing famous ponies, princesses, or others of high status and honestly gets a bit bored while interacting to them. 

🍷 Despite keeping a composed character extremely well while working, Carm tends to let loose off the clock. Even if being a waitress is her talent and livelihood, she does appreciate a break from having to be so uptight. On her off days she tends to enjoy going to The Wonderbolt's airshows, playing buckball, eating out at diners, and other activities that would make the snobby ponies she works for gasp in disgust. 

🍽️ Off the clock, Carmine is stubborn and irritable. She tends to be a bit flirtatious at times (even if she isn't very good at it) and straightforward to people about her feelings. Most of this behavior is due to never getting to be herself as a filly, having been raised to be very well-mannered, to only speak when spoken to, and never getting to fully indulge in her childhood. None of Carmine's real friends would ever recognize her if she revealed her work, which is why she prefers to keep it secret, avoiding questions about it.  

🍷 Carm tells most ponies that her talent is something weather-related and nopony quite bats an eye once they see she's a pegasus. She likes to wear jean shorts and skirts that can cover her flank while hanging out with her friends. One of her good friends is TBN, who tends to look up to her for her care-free attitude. Carmine feels that if she were to tell him of her real talent she would greatly disappoint him. 

🍽️ Carmine never had any luck with stallions, as her parents have tried time and time again to pair her up with a prince or two. Despite her parents best efforts to get her into high society, Carm was never interested in arranged marriage. After so many suitors shoved in her face, even as a filly, Carm found herself feeling a bit discouraged to ever find love with another pony to begin with. It took her a while to realize that part of the reason she barely had interest in the bachelors was because she has always been much fonder of mares.
