★ Star Prince ★

When the Boomerang Nebula exploded, it left a ton of extra stardust in the atmosphere. One could only imagine the universe's shock when it took on a humanoid form that went by the name "Comet."

The young boy was saved by a traveling merchant who sold products all over the galaxy. Comet would later on say that he truly did view said merchant as a father figure. His childhood was abnormal from the beginning, but the merchant let him experience a little bit of a normal life. He grew up never having many friends because he traveled so much, but he was happy to have a family.

Growing up, he relied mostly on his creativity to get him through the hard times. He typically never fit in with other kids anyways; gender norms never effected him and he preferred to present as feminine, although he doesn't identify as such at all. Not only that, but he used to be rather shy and preferred to keep his life completely private. If someone were to try to talk to him at the swingset for example, he would only look at them as though they were strange and never say a word.

Eventually, he learned how horrible time can be. His father died when he was only a few decades old, leaving him all on his own on a strange planet. For a while he remained depressed, refusing to even go outside due to a severe case of agoraphobia. Things remained this way up until he finally got the motivation to get up and do as his father would have wanted him to do.

He originally stuck with being a traveling merchant, just like his father was. His father left behind tons of supplies and all he had to do was sell them. While visiting a planet known primarily for entertainment, he watched a show titled "STELLAR GIRLS," a magical girl anime centering around a group of schoolgirls who had magical powers and saved people. This would become one of his key motivators at some point in the future.

For a long time he was all alone. He may have spoken to a lot of people and made friends, but none of them were truly close. On one of his many trips to another planet called Earth, he heard rumors of the "Star Fox," a mythological creature described as a guardian of one ofo Japan's many villages for centuries. Upon visiting the village he met her, a strong yet reclusive kitsunemimi who only wanted the best for humanity. Even if they didn't get along so well at first, Comet continued to try to get close to her. Both of them were lonely and in need of a friend.

He stayed on the planet for a while before eventually reaching his deadline. Without any time to say farewell to his new friend, he was sent on a mission on yet another planet. When he finally returned, the Star Fox embraced him and fussed over him, ensuring he was okay before eventually trying to distance herself again.

Of course the two became close. He realized that the Star Fox, truly named Astrid, was just a young guardian who was unsure how to show her feelings. At some point she agreed to be his "familiar" of sorts, not through contract but through free will. In turn, Comet became known as the "Star Prince," a title that would stick with him for centuries.

To this very day, people believe that Comet truly is a prince of the stars. They respect him and treat him as royalty, a game that Astrid gladly plays along with. She was his knight and he was her prince. At some point they even began to refer to each other as siblings instead of simply best friends. All of their days are spent saving innocent people from dangerous situations, an easy task considering Astrid's healing abilities and Comet's empathetic nature.
