Minako

Minako is the granddaughter of Goro Yokoyama, the owner and head chef of a local noodle house. Her parents were often busy with work, and so she would spend a lot of time helping her grandpa out around the shop. When her Grandfather adopted Kai, she became something of an older sister to him, and the two became pretty close. 

When Goro passed away, the business was bought by the son of a well known business mogul. Minako was assuming the new owners would destroy the charm of the establishment with cheap gimmicks, but to her surprise everything remained the same. Goro's apprentice Kai took over his masters position in the kitchen. The new owner was a young man named Aoki who turned out to be a pretty nice guy who dearly loved the food, and was adamant nothing was to be changed under his ownership. Minako enjoyed serving him almost every day and would even sometimes find herself falling behind at work after getting caught up in a conversation or two. Which was strange, since Min considered herself a pretty quiet person. Oddly, the more Minako appreciated the new owner's company, the more frustrated Kai seemed to get with him. Even though she keeps convincing herself it's got nothing to do with her, Min isn't quite sure...
