Vin's homeland was bright, brilliant and full of blooming, lively flowers. He lived in a small tribe there, up until early adolescence and was displaced after a catastrophic storm tore through the island. When he came to, after being knocked out cold by the storm, he found himself in territory he had never seen before. Dense, dark, scary- nothing like his home.
