|| BACKGROUND

       The best way to describe Momoko is NEET. If it wasn't for her frequent trips to Akihabara, she would be a complete hikikomori / shut-in. She never got to know or meet her mother groing up, nor does she know much about her (r care to know really). She lives with her father who is almost always t work, so she never gets to see him, and when she does, he is so wrapped up in work he forgets that she exists. Momoko gets transferred a decent sum of money each week to live pff while he is away, but since her diet consists of cheap garbage food, cup ramen and conveyer-belt sushi, she spends most of this on her obsessive anime collection. She has well over 200 different anime figures, all wonderfully presented in display cases and shelves across her room, and the collection keeps on growing. She spends a huge amount of time playing video games, primarily dating sims. She gets incredibly absorbed into each game, taking every somment and challenge extremely personally. She will never back down to any challenge presented, as long as it is in the virtual world. After being left alone for so long, not even leaving the house to go to school, Momoko has developed an extremely distorted view on reality. She pictures humans as NPCs in her life story and has no intention of interacting with any of them. What doesn't help this, is that she doesn't know how to socialize with people either. She stutters, stammers, flushes and gets incredibly awkward at any conversation she is presented with in real life. She can, however, hold amazing conversations and have full blown interactions with her various anime figures and virtual friends. 

|| STORY  

       Momoko's mai goal in life is to perfect her ever-growing collection of figures, and master every dating sim in the world. Not much of a life goal, but it gets her out of bed every day at least. She secretly desires a real relationship with another person, but she gets shy and distressed even thinking about this. She has a number of online friends who like to try and encourage her to meet up in real life, but so far she has avoided every single meet up. At first she genuinely believed the excuses she was making up to avoid her friends in real life, but even now they stop asking as often knowing they will get a blaitant and extreme lie, such as 'My cat had been run over so I am with him at the vet' .. even though she has no pets, and her friends know this. They still get along really well online and speak most days, but never in person. They think Momoko might be shy about her appearance, as they have only ever seen her in photos where she looks beautiful and well dressed, but they also don't fully believe that it is her in the photos. Despite all of Momoko's reservations in life, she adores dressing up beautifully (and excessively) whenever she goes out.

   CHIXERII ||Fellow collector

Chixerii and Momoko met on an anime figure colectors forum. Since then, they have become really close friends, constantly keeping eachother up to date with the latest high quality merchandise from their favorite series, as well as sharing an interest in fashion too. Chixerii woudl love the chance to go shopping with Momo, however she has never had any luck in meeting her in real life, so they spend most of their time texting.

  CANDISE || Idol

Momoko has a somewhat unhealthy obsession with Candise, especially considering she has never met her or even spoken to her. Candise plays a candy-themed magical girl on a popular TV show, and Momoko is obsessed with watching the program and idolises Candise. She does not care for her when she is out of character, but believes her TV persona to be her 'true' self - she collects a large amoutn of Candise memorabilia.

  HANAKO ||Online friends

 Hanako spends a lot of time talking with Momo, they both share a lot of the same interests, only Hanako is much more sociable in real life. They mail eachother accessories often, but neither really show interest in meeting eachother in real life, as both of them are really shy about revealing their species. Hanako is a lockette, but worries that Momoko may reject her for this, so she tries to keep this secret. Momoko alreday knows that she isn't human and doesn't particularly care, but she also isn't aware that Hanako is trying to hide this from her.

 PERSONALITY ||  
      She is obsessed with collections. She adores collecting anime figures, cute harajuku-style clothing and spends most of her time creeping around Akihabara. She talks to her various figures, posters and gives them all personalities in her head, but she cannot even begin to comprehend how to talk to a human stranger. Momo takes everythign as a personal challenge and always has to win, but  her view of the world is really skewed. Momo spensa at least 8 hours a day playing video games, more if she doesn't go out to Akiba to get more weeaboo merch.  She is stubborn, awkward, competitive, obsessive and overly ambitious in all the wrong places.
