Profile
Charlotte is a self-learned pickpocket and shooter whose goals outweigh practicality. With a love for academics, the art, and the frontier, she's headstrong and reasonable, often trying to sort things out diplomatically and not one for violence.
Born the daughter an Italian banking baron in New York City, Charlotte was thrust into a life full of business and the men of her life ruling all her decisions. Her older brothers Will and Daniel were her father's focus, especially after her mother died before she could even remember her. She enrolled in school, figuring the most independence she could have would be through there, studying cultural anthropology. However, after growing up with tales of great heroes and beauties of the West, she felt drawn to escape - and soon ran away from home with the outlaw man of her dreams. After a few years of swinging with his gang and learning life on the road, however, he abandoned her in Saint-Denis, where she remained for a short while as a pickpocket.
On the Road
After a number of months in Saint-Denis she decided to go on the road again, this time alone and more confident in her abilities than before. Trying desparately to avoid her ex-lover's gang, she took onto an independent path, searching for another group to call home - eventually finding that in the Van der Linde gang after an incident causing her to hide in one of their wagons.

Arthur Morgan - lover
"Charlotte stayed with the Van der Linde gang for what she thought would be temporarily but, as fate decided, ended up being permanent. She fell in love with Arthur, their personalities clashing at first but ultimately falling together perfectly - her talks of academia matching his of the wilds. He tried to push her away, saying he could never be enough for city girls, but her reassurance allowed him to give in (he still often calls her "Princess" to tease). She stayed in the gang with him, doing work for them as well in hopes of bringing them back to their former glory."
Wyatt Rockwell - ex-lover
"Wyatt was the reason Charlotte initially moved West, her head filled with ambitions and stories of what life was like there. However, she quickly realized her mistake, as Wyatt outside of courting was harsh and abusive, to the point where neither could stand each other anymore and he fled."
Zhuang Lin - friend
"Lin was the only friend Charlotte made in Saint-Denis, a worker at Kuo Chao & Co. They bonded after Wyatt left, and Charlotte would go to her for advice or help. Before leaving, Lin gave Charlotte a small carved cat as a token of their friendship."
