  Gothic grows black roses, as black as his heart.  His thorns aren't quite prickly, they are more seafoam vaper that are soft and dispense in the air if bothered.

Fully Aquatic:

He may not look it, but he has the blood of mercats in him. He can change into a mercat too but chooses to never embrace the sea.
