Ryan 'Grid' Morris

One mask, many, many bodies.

Ryan is an entity that resides inside of an iron mask, taking control of those that wield it. The mask grants it's wearer incredible physical strength, durability, and healing rate, however the lack of any control of their body is the caveat. Ryan will then proceed to use the body's new strength to pursue his own goals, while the original soul of his new vessel is pushed back a bit. Certain people, if good at heart, will get their body back when Ryan is done with it. The wicked simply remain his vessel until their body expires from either injury, age, or him purposefully pushing it to it's limits.

Ryan's origins are a bit muffled, but it's thought to believe that he was once a paid intern at Miletech, a company who has...some significantly shady dealings going on with Hell. Told to come inside the boss' office, he was ambushed and slowly stabbed to death as his soul was offered up to a Grand demon of greed.
Thankfully, this is the universe that Ashes lives in. Lucifer saw what was going on, said the equivalent of "lmao fuck that", and stole the soul before the demon could shove it down it's greasy fuckin maw. He had the mask forged into the mask of one of his fallen guards, and then let it loose on the world, so Ryan can at least have payback for what those bastards did to him.  And so, that's what he's after.

His personality is not as edgy as one would think. Sure he's somewhat cold, and callous at times, but he seems to care at least somewhat for his current vessel's well being. Once he gets to know them, and if he likes them as a person, he'll start prioritizing their survival in a combat situation, in a mix of self preservation and empathy. He IS driving their body around like a puppet, he might as well make sure that body is in one piece when he gives it back to the soul he took it from.
