I've always been an outcast.

I've never fit in, my mutations are stacked one on top of another and no one likes to look at me.

I don't like to show them how I feel. They would probably take it the wrong way.

I have always found comfort in books.

Words on pages, telling the stories of those I have never met.

And I enjoy writing them myself.

Behind the pages of my writing no one can judge me by the way I look.

My writing is my safe place. 

My retreat.

My haven.
