Kaimana is a wandering traveler from Inazuma and a future playable character in Genshin Impact. She first appeared in-game in the Side Quest, Water isn't Wet, which is first playable after meeting Yuma in Chapter 2, Act 1 of the Teyvat Chapter Storyline.

Introduction

Kaimana is a half-human, half Qilin traveler from Inazuma. She's rumored to be walking karma, but no one has lived to tell that story. The Fatui have been seen trying to convince her to their side, but she has yet to make a move. For now, Kaimana prefers to keep her own company and wander around Inazuma looking for inspiration for her art.

Personality

Kaimana is rather carefree. She seems to care less about what she is, and how much power she wields, but more interested in the world around her. Scenery especially catches her fancy. While now quiet and reserved, Yuma's voice lines point to her being outgoing when she was younger. She's supposedly hiding something dark beneath that quiet exterior of hers. But the only way to even try talking to her is to ensure you are ready for a fight.

Appereance

Kaimana has two long dragon horns and a tail that glow when she uses her elemental bursts. She has two Hydro visions one on each sleeve. All light blue parts on her legs, hair, and face glow in her ultimate form. Her outfit is light and easy to maneuver in. She doesn't seem to be affected by the cold.

Talents

Dragon's Breath

Normal Attack - Performs up to 6 shots of frozen ice that seek out heat signatures.
Charged Attack - Yui sends out a larger block of frozen ice that freezes targets inflicted with Radiance

Calls of the Drowned

Yui's attacks heal for the same amount of damage that they deal for the next 10 seconds. Inflicts Cryo to those that they heal.
Charged - Emits a burst of damage and healing to surrondings. Applies Radiance to enemies

Tidecaller's Fury

Yui unleashes their delusion allowing them to apply electo and cryo status to all enemies in a large radius. This also applies Radiance and dentonates all marks included in the radius.

Passive - Drowning

Yui applies Radiance when attacking. Radiance can be detonated by elemental reactions causing double damage when detonated.
