B orn as Taibhsídhe (pronounced tive-shee), the God of Wandering Spirits, Faolán is an ancient deity and, as such, has lived an incredibly long time. He has the ability to see "ghosts", or spirits, of those departed from life, which he nurtures and guides to the afterlife. Some may also consider him the Grim Reaper or the God of Death. He is depicted in many forms, from that of a snow white unicorn to that of the solitary snow leopoard; most commonly, however, Faolán is associated with lambs and the sensation of spring and the first thaw; he is also commonly known as the "spring lamb".
He exists as the patron god of Oshea, a small island nation where he is devoutly worshiped. While many cultures fear death and the concept of the grim reaper, those from Oshea, under Faolán's protection, find comfort in it.

Osial / wife Faolán's beloved wife, his best friend and his whole world; Osial means everything to him and is the person he trusts with his life. The two are inseparable and find it difficult to cope without the other. While Osial instills Faolán with confidence and offers him protection and a sense of security and safety, Faolán is the only person capable of calming Osial's disquiet--quelling his volatile nature and turning a once hateful and violent warlord into a sensitive, loving and devoted partner.
Ymir / friend One of Faolán's dearest friends (or a romantic partner in some AUs!) Ymir is one of Faolán's most devout followers--as an ancient duine sídhe, a type of fairy and mythical creature native to Oshea, Ymir's people owe much to their patron god and worship him fervently. Ymir is far from an exception to this belief, and took his faith one step further to meet and befriend his god in person. Faolán finds Ymir's confidence in doing so incredibly charming, if not a bit offputting at first, but both stand on equal footing as friends and share much in common.
Dia / friend Another of Faolán's closest friends; he finds great comfort in Dia and both get along cheerfully well. Dia is a grounding presence for Faolán and exactly what he needs in a friendship--someone who's lighthearted and fun, but incredibly responsible and compassionate. Dia cares a lot for Faolán and sees both him and Osial as family.
