Varis

Varis "Verenleikkaaja" (=Crow "The Blood Cutter") is a mute harpy, who doesn't let her shortcomings stop her. She's curious, fearless and shameless as well as mischievous, witty and a fast thinker, a combination which is sure to reap trouble wherever she goes. Her special ability is to turn different materials into magical stones that can cure illnesses, cause them, or alter the basic essence of a matter (for example turning a water into juice). The precise rules of this magic and the stones are still greatly a mystery for Varis, but she's busy studying more every day. So far she has figured out that the same material from different areas and spots can cause different effects, as well as that magical stones created from material of certain place or creature are harmful for that very same thing they originate from. Her ultimate goal is to find a magical stone that would cure her muteness.  Like a true corvid she isn't afraid to steal some fur from your butt for her experiments, and she does seem to have fun time irritating people for no reason whatsoever, too. However, Varis is also capable of being an enjoyable, joyful company when she calms down a bit. Her overall tone is very optimistic.
