Born an albino, he wa fawned over about being 'moon touched' or 'blessed by the moon.' Florence didn't like all the attention however and felt rather plain and out of sorts, a shy creature and not liking all the attention. It doesn't work well, but he's formed the habit to try and hide his albinism by putting paints into his pelt to try and fit in. Embarrassment at his lack of facial markings has led him to paint on a 'mask' to fit in better.
Florence is a surprisingly gentle soul. Less of a fighter and not as aggressive as most others Florence tends to be more patient and kind. This could possibly be the result of the other cubs pulling at him and remarking on his 'weirdness' from the very start. Adults may have found him moon blessed, but pups not so much. Making him close in upon himself. Often holding a more submissive or closed in posture.
He has a thirst for knowledge, and more then anything, stories and tales. Spending most of his Rite hearing the stories and legends of others, recording and writing them out. When he finally settled down within a tribe, he became the storykeeper.
He met his mate Akuji, and where he's an odd sort who tends to hide his face, Florence adores him dearly and loves to be close to him. Not seeming to mind his aversion of not having a mask over his face at all times. Every time Akuji leaves to travel, he waits anxiously for the return of his mate, more of a homebody then his beloved mate, though he will occasionally venture out with him.
