Vaadhine

Vaadhine (pronounced Vah-a-deen) was named after the Maldivian island which houses the famous Sea of Stars due to her colorful scale and tail colors which gleam in rich teals and light purples, much like ocean glitter against the setting sun. 

A curious girl whose personality, though initially tepid to strangers, sparkles with humor and cheer. She loves to explore areas round her home for items of interest. She is especially drawn to the ever-present lights that bathe human settlements; she is convinced it is some kind of land magic that borrows power from the sun and allows the humans to never know darkness again. In fact, she fancies herself a bit of an expert on the matter when asked though she often implores people not to tell her parents, as they disapprove of her wandering too close to their "aggressive" legged cousins.
