Niko- Or Fork is a young kitsune that guards a shrine near an old village. He knows little of the outside world other than what his sister tells him, but his dream is to see everything. But his current tasks have him stuck near the shrine, curing those of nightmares and other illnesses caused by demons. One day he'll leave the shrine to see the world! But his sister says not today...Till then he spends his days painting what he believes the world to look like. Beautiful trees, lakes, fish. Oh! And oceans! He would kill to see an ocean. Nineko says he can leave when he gets two tails...but unlike other kitsunes his age absorbing other's spirits doesn't come easy to him and magic isn't his strong suit. He worries that he'll end up getting his first tail through age and never leave the shrine. But nonetheless, he's a sweet loving boy and tries to make everyone smile. No matter how long it might take...
