Kaleid the Cursed🐀

Once a cocky, womanizing thief, Kaleid pushed his luck too hard when he got turned into a rat as punishment for stealing from a very temperamental goddess. He calls himself a god, but he's actually only 1/8th a deity--through his great-grandmother. Contrary to current circumstances he was born with unusually high luck, but divine protection is not absolute.

Curse of Unending Life: If killed by any source, after 24 hours Kaleid coalesces at a random location on the planet's surface. This can even include the ocean and other inhospitable locations that result in subsequent death; however, due to his unusually high luck, this doesn't happen very often.

Still, coalescence is an unpleasant process, and rats are very fragile, death-prone creatures. His primary goal is to break the curse and end the cycle of rebirth. His cockiness persists even as a rat.
