Clickbait was a program to be an AI virus. If the user were to come acrossed the clickbait.exe virus their computer would instantly be infected. She bricks your computer and eats your data. She somehow managed to brick and download several thousand computers in the matter of a week. Shocking the world when she started to communicate to the users who could get their computer fixed she stayed perminently as a shimiji type friend. Some users eventually found that she had a real personality. She became a weird internet idol of somesort when she funded a body via crowdfunding and scientists made her a real body to look like the avatar she used to communicate to her users.

There are a LOT of users who hate her and want her destroyed and consider her to be a type of digital terrorst. Scientists find her fascinating and have devoted their time in studying her after she inhabbited her body.
