Garrett takes his job very seriously. Weather he's hired as an assassin, a bodyguard, whatever the job, if you plan to get in his way, prepare to be sorely disappointed in way of him stopping you. Often coming off as stone faced, he can however have a dry sort of humor when on the job that isn't always strictly appropriate for the job. 

He was once an agent for the law until he was in a horrible accident when in the line of duty that left him crippled and unable to fend for himself. Angry at the realization of how little the law cares for those in its employ and how little it regards those who have lost things in line of duty. Slapping him with cheap and glitchy augments that made him barely able to complete regular day to day duties let alone have him keep his job, being fired within the year of his promising career. 

He soon turned his back on his high morals and strong belief in the justice system at the slight and lack of being listened to, finding his way into the hands of a benefactor more willing to help him out and give him some rather impressive upgrades in return. He now puts his learned skills out as a hired gun, and every day his guilt becomes less and less. Why care for a world or justice system who gave him none in return? 

He lives quite nicely in a condo that overlooks the city.
