Profile
Renowned doctor, at the forefront in quirk singularity research, model, and pro-hero. A former UA student gone pro, Ayako is a formiddable force to be reckoned with. Only a few know of her secret upbringing. Her parents were villains who were later caught while she was a child. When her quirk first appeared, she had almost killed her adopted caretaker with it's toxin-like properties. Even though it was a simple mistake, with a quick analysis of her quirk's make up she was brought to an organization that focused on children with dangerous quirks like hers. She recieved harsh training on how to use it but was always met with comments that she could never be a hero with a quirk like hers. The comments weighed heavy on her, but even so the organization's ties with UA allowed her to attend the school. At most, they assumed that she would only make Class 1-B. But, during the inital trials, she managed to amaze the judges with her athleticism and intellect. She was put into Class 1-A where she would meet Wan Wan. The two clashed horribly, as no matter how many times Ayako stressed that she was not a person to be friends with, Wan Wan persisted and they teamed up multiple times for class exercises. It was Wan Wan who gave her the realization, in a rather dumb-founded way, that it could be possible that the reason Ayako was so afraid of her quirk was that she didn't know it as well as she thought (speaking from her own experience). She took the suggestion seriously and sought to try new things. From then on, she studied quirks, DNA, and medicine and soon found a way to rework how the toxins from her quirk into a prototyped medicine that she would later perfect as she got older.
After she graduated UA, she and Wan Wan formed their own agency. It was small, but the main goal was that it would operate as a hub of quirk research and as a small clinic. Knowing that, due to her parents being villains themselves and that with her fragile view on becoming a hero, she realizes that without her friends like Wan Wan and the teachers at UA she could very well have turned to being a villain herself. So, she tends to turning a blind eye to most villains that come into her clinic and will fix them up without charge. She's become fairly well-known in underground circles but still manages a highly-mainted image as a pro-hero.
