Tako and Yaki

Tako (purple) and Yaki (green) are actually sisters, they go by the idol name Calamari Cousins as a nod to the Squid Sisters. They are intentionally made to look pretty much exactly like the Sisters in terms of design, trying to steal their music and market it to a more Octarian audience. They can't sing, of course, and usually have someone else sing for them as they perform.

Outside of singing, they also run a newscast in Octo Valley, though of course they barely have anything to report on, unless you count Agent three.

Tako is the elder sister and kind of an asshole, to put it bluntly. She's the kind of person that enjoys making others unhappy, and will frequently jab at her younger sister during broadcasts.

Yaki is the younger one, and she's essentially just bitter she had to cut and bleach her hair to look more like Marie. She's mean just like Tako, but she'll probably not stab you. Maybe.
