He ran from his entire dukedom for an unknown reason, taking his fortune with him and refusing to look back. He wakes up in a broken carriage in the middle of woods with endless night, and drags his bags with him to the town in the distance. He'd arrived in Whisperhil with no idea how he got there, but with no desire to go back and having nowhere else he could even go, he settles into life in the town. He goes about his life more or less pretending everything is as normal as ever, even though he is unsettled by the amount of children and people that go missing in that manor far in the forest...
