He really ignored the tug on his soul until it became too painful to continue pushing against, so he didn't join the pack for YEARS after becoming a wolf, like fuckin, twelve years or so which is unheard of
He's 35 now and starting to get that Good Ol Midlife Crisis but he's ignoring his dreaded mortality and focusing on Carmen instead, especially worried with his bad her self harming had gotten before he was able to start getting hormone blockers for her
