PERSONALITY:

Secunda can be outwardly cold, and come off as uncaring and distrustful of others she first meets. She’s quite skeptical of people, and struggles with getting closer to anyone. Trust is a huge issue for her, it’s hard won and easily lost.
This doesn’t mean she’s not willing to make the effort to try and find companionship, just that it can be difficult for her to commit to anything.
Despite her seemingly closed-off nature, she craves for validation, and to those that end up with her trust, she’ll constantly be looking to do right by them for their approval.
Her humour is very snarky and full of sass, her motivations for a lot of things are generally spiteful, and emotionally charged. She’s very passionate and her emotions often get the better of her.

HISTORY:

Second daughter to the family of royals that ruled over Emberhall. Always pushed to the sidelines while her older sister got more of the praise and attention. Being the next to take the throne and all. Secunda played her roles dutifully for a while, a handmaiden and guard to her sister. All for the care she still had for her family despite the pecking order, and for the good of the kingdom.
She wasn't the only one though that had been shrugged off by the rest of the royal family. Several in the king's guard grew to resent the royals - planning in secret to overthrow.
Secunda got wrapped up in all of it, even going through with a test from the other guards to prove she was with them, and wouldn't rat out their plans to her family.
In secret her and the others planned and practiced their magic, honing it for the task they set out to accomplish, seiging the castle after years and successfully overthrowing the throne and establishing a new regime. It's been a few years, the betrayer princess remaining as a decorated soldier, and recently a liason between Beacon and Emberhall as connections become established now that the company's reach has been extending to further parts of Silutika. She's starting to dig deeper into this Beacon stuff an is looking to make a name for herself within the ranks here too.

ABILITIES / SPELLS:
1. Curse of Binding (Single Target | 1d4 | Support)
[BONUS ACTION], you attempt to bind a Large or smaller creature you can see within 30 feet of you, which must make a Strength saving throw. On a failure, the cursed creature’s speed is reduced to 0 and it can’t use reactions until the end of your next turn.

Amplify: (Take 1d4 damage in order to use this) This curse lasts for 1 minute and can affect any creature regardless of size. The cursed creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the curse on itself on a success.

2. Jagged Wall (15ft | 1d6 | Ranged/Support)
[ACTION] A large wall up to 15ft in length of tightly packed crystal spikes burst from the ground, causing 1d6 piercing damage to whatever they come in contact with. Additionally, creatures can hide behind the wall for cover, causing attacks against them to be made with disadvantage.
