Kilia is not aware of her strength. Since she was born in a human body and lived her life as a human, she was never aware that she was a Nephilim.
Only after Astaroth killed her body, she was able to shed this shell and become who she actually was.
She is very compassionate and has not lost this quality, even not she has had a not so easy life. Even though she was afraid of Astaroth in the beginning, she quickly saw something in him that no one else saw.

Backstory
Kilia is the daughter of a housewife and a soldier. Her parents' home was good, but when her father died in action, everything changed.
Her family broke up and Kilia also suffered.
But Kilia's true form is that of a Nephilim. Her soul was reborn into the human body and how this could happen is still unclear. All memories of her former life have been lost.
Her real father is angel Michael, who accidentally impregnated her mother in her previous life. However, he abandoned her mother and she never had the opportunity to tell him that he was going to be a father.
Only late Michael learned about his child and tries to this day to destroy the soul, because it was forbidden for an angel to love and beget children.
Astaroth
