✦ About

Creator of monsters, god of kaijus, master of a lot of failures, and ace professional at reading gossip magazines. A demigod with origins unknown to themselves that creates many of the world's mysteries as a job from creating cryptids, making ghosts real to sending a kaiju down to end the human civilization. None of these mysteries have ever been credited to Lexicon nor will their efforts to be an evil warlord will come true since it always falters. And sometimes their greatest efforts to destroy a world probably got stricken down by some oversights. They could've finished their job at any point with their raw power but they have very little motivation.

One effort was to create "Gubey" which was supposed to be a literal bug that was to drive people insane into believing the most absurd and horrifying conspiracy theories as a stepping stone to humanity's destruction. Gubey was supposed to send tapes of subliminal messages, be everyone's earworm and adjust even the smallest details of commercial designs to spur mass hysteria without anyone's notice and then Lexicon would enter the scene. But that went nowhere.

Tired of this, they can always settle down on Earth as a civilian. Not many people would know what they did anyway. Minus the fact, they aren't human. They often hang in convenience stores reading magazines, sit on benches at night and if anyone's willing to talk to them or take them in, they'll consider it as a hobby. To Lexicon, being normal is a hobby.

✦ Appearance

Definitely not a human. For someone that's at least over ten feet tall, their body is not proportionate to their height. You can tell because their ears always hit the top of convenience store entrances. From their legs, arms, and how far they can reach the top shelf from the food aisle, they are loooooooooooooong.

They wear a cloak that extends to a cape down to their boots. Their cape by their knee area splits into two with jester bells by each end. Between their chest and left shoulder area is a large eye emblem. By their cape's back is six arranged (actual) eyeballs. Don't look at it too much because it does follow you and blink. Lexicon's cape has a collar that splits like a flower and covers their neck.

If they ever grab hold of you, their gloves almost reach to their elbow and their fingers are pretty sharp. If you wanted to know under their gloves, their hands do not have nails. Absolute claws.

Maybe the only human influence you may take notice of is that they like eyeliner, at least something is worth taking and it is beauty.

Shoe-feet.

✦ Trivia
● Lexicon Devil's original design and backstory was based on urano000's Devil but their design shifted to be based around a character from .hack// and Hollow Knight.
● Their namesake is a song by the Germs, called Lexicon Devil. Their original name was Big Deal, based on the character from Twelve Forever.
● They were meant to be MUCH more edgier, like way more. But I write every character to have some element of Chekhov's Gun like, "they're a evil god!" but 90% of my writing is, "they're a dork."
● The idea of Lexicon being a demigod that creates mysterious entities that stir up conspiracy theories and mass hysteria came from me listening to Neil Cicierega's Redesign Your Logo and Touch-Tone Telephone. I read a ton of bad conspiracy theories while listening to Lemon Demon.
● Their backstory is inspired by many stories that I liked such as Berserk, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Final Fantasy X and Drag-On Dragon. Their backstory is how I feel about shut-ins in the otaku culture.
