About

Sinbad spent his childhood scavenging the streets of Veritam, the resident capitol of drunkards and nobodies. He spent most of his youth a pickpocket, swiping gems and golden baubles to turn around for his next meal. As he grew older, Sinbad quickly learned that secrets and information could be just as valuable, if not moreso, than trinkets and treasures. Soon, he had built a reputation of knowing everyone and everything, and knowing the value of his information, and bartered secrets alongside his less conspicuous trade in jewelry. After a while, he decided to seek out fighting training in Hernlak, and while he admired his teacher greatly, he did not find the satisfaction he desired in being a guard, and returned to Veritam, still wanting something more. It wasn't until whispers of a faun from Makino that could conjure storms and control flames graced his ears that Sinbad found what he had been looking for. Through a rather persuasive conversation, and a showing of coin, Sinbad was hired on as the faun's escort back from Veritam, and was allowed entry into the otherwise generally exclusive city of Makino. There he began his pursuit of X, and his journey to control and increase his newfound abilities. As Sinbad enjoyed the foreign frivolities Makino had to offer, he soon found himself fascinated with a local dancer by the name of Link, and made it another of his missions to learn all that the silent faun had to offer.

Trivia/Artist's Notes

• Sinbad's golden coloration always has a bioluminescent glow to it.
• Sinbad has 3 sets of antlers; Black nubs in the front, a full golden set in the middle, and a full black set in the back.
• Much of Sinbad's personality is a mask that he isn't even aware that he puts on.
• Following some later events, Sinbad has lightning-like patterns of pigmentless fur/feathers along his back.
