EVERYTHING BELOW HERE IS ONLY RELATED TO STORY!BYTE & DOES NOT APPLY TO THEM AS MY FURSONA

Position: Liminal Plane Data Diver

The new recruit and our protagonist. Despite a glaring lack in any kind of scientific qualifications, Byte more than makes up for it in their street-smarts and their capacity to adapt to new and bizarre situations. Prior to joining the Sigma unit, they struggled to hold down any kind of long-term employment and bounced between odd jobs since their mid-teens. Perhaps this is what influenced their decision to join despite initial hesitation. Ever since joining, Byte has found the position to be an excellent outlet for their pent-up anxiety and energy when out in the field. In the labs, they try their best to fit in with the others. They have formed a particularly close friendship with fellow data diver Hailey, regularly hanging out together when off the clock.

Talent: Unnamed; Byte doesn’t like talking about it.

Byte can survive any injury that is guaranteed to be fatal, and when this happens they will enter a "berserk" mode triggered by their survival instincts in order to eliminate any imminent lethal threat. However, when in berserk mode, Byte is not fully in control of their actions and may be prone to attacking indiscriminately if they believe they are still in danger.
