Alerster is a member of the Emperor's Coven serving as the Royal Archivist to keep track of the history of the Boiling Isles known by Belos.
He's done his fair share of undercover work in his youth to gain his high position despite his lack of strength. The coven heads dislike him, all expect for Darius and Eberwolf.
While he's had it for as long as he could remember, he can transform into a truly terrifying dragon-like beast that he considers more of a curse due to not being able to control himself in his alternate form.

Backstory
In his younger years, Alerster has recalled his times as a captain in charge of his own team of men. Usually for top secret missions. But with less danger of backstabers in the coven, he was promoted as royal archivist when Belos took notice for his love of history and architecture. He mostly kept him in charge of maintaming the history he deamed as the truth of the history of the Boiling Isles.
For his new role, he was told to study the landscape by the titain's skull to see it was suitable for the plans he had for a event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of being the ruler of the isles.
Sure enough he did what Belos wanted, for 10 years, but was blind to know what the emperor's true intensions of the Day Of Unity was for.
He is good friends with Darius.
Bonus Facts:
- He doesn't tell Belos about his findings in lost forms of wild magic, it's a tightly held secret since he knows how much Belos hates it
