Ayda

[Note: This character is based mostly on the main game series, especially the first two generations and their remakes. I don't watch the anime, and the only "spin-off" games I've played are the first two Mystery Dungeon games. I have not played any games after Gen 5 since I don't have a 3DS or Switch, but I have watched LP's of them.]

(Timeline is based on Gen 1 & 2 and their remakes) Originally from Cinnabar Island, Ayda's family was forced to move when the volcano erupted. They have yet to settle in another place permanently and are almost constantly on the move.

As a child, Ayda went to explore at the burned down Pokémon mansion where she found a young Vulpix trapped under some debris. Helping the Vulpix, Ayda then brought it home with her and was allowed to keep it. This is where her interest in Pokémon, especially Fire types, began. She named the Vulpix Fiamma, eventually obtaining a fire stone to evolve her into a Ninetales. The Ninetales, Fiamma, is still Ayda's partner and constant companion.

Ayda specializes in Fire type Pokémon, and hopes to one day own her own gym, having been inspired by watching Blaine as a child. She sees her Pokémon as friends and partners, rather than as pets or subordinates.
