The second eldest of five children, Jessica was an intelligent girl whose odd behaviors were rather ignored by her parents. As a result, between the ages of fifteen through eighteen, she suffered from crippling depression that only further spiked the anxiety she already had. It wasn't until her mother forced her into clarinet lessons that she "got her act together".

While she found herself a good player, though, it was determined that she would have to be able to perform somewhere if she were to draw attention to herself, and perhaps a good husband ( despite her insistence that she did not wish to have a husband, let alone children ).

Joey Drew Studios became the best for both parties.

Performing and earning income, without the pressures of a husband or stage, Jessica was eager to begin her role in the studio. However, she got onto the wrong foot with Sammy Lawrence thanks to her strong personality, but was able to settle in with the rest of the woodwinds. Easy enough to do so when Sammy was universally considered an ass.

However, what she didn't realize was that she was selected to be reborn, and when she was called into the office by Joey Drew himself, she didn't expect that she'd never leave...alive.
