Adrift is an excitable and charming boy with a love of the weather- no matter what it is! He finds it enormously fascinating and pours hours of his time into just watching the sky and feeling the wind and chasing after storms just to catch a glimpse of nature's magic at work.

He's going to college to be a weatherman (Totally not just so he can gush about his favorite thing on television) but in the meantime, he's your local dorky college student who's passionate about something weird.

He's a bit forgetful and tends to leap first ask questions later, but he's really sweet and you can always count on him to try to make you smile. He's a charming guy who just radiates positive vibes and he's beyond thrilled to invite you into his little world. He may talk too much about the sun or a neat cloud, but if you don't mind him being a bit passionate about his obsession he'd be a fantastic friend to have.

He does get a bit self conscious at times about his lack of knowledge when it comes to anything besides the weather. It's like his brain has room for weather and nothing else, so he tends to not have much attention span to learn things that don't bolster that knowledge. He certainly tries his best, but finds it very hard to focus if it's not in line with his goals. 

He can be rather clumsy at times, especially when flustered, both physically and with his words. He fumbles what he wants to say when he gets nervous quite often.

Adrift grew up on a boat with his parents, who were dedicated scientists studying fish out in the deep sea. While it wasn't an ideal place for a childhood- it gave him plenty of time to learn and research and experience all sorts of amazing weather and ocean patterns at an early age while his parents homeschooled him. As soon as he was old enough to go to college and seek out what he wanted to do- he knew rightaway. Weather patterns. His calling had always been seeking out the great mysteries of the sky and seeing all that it could offer.

He wanted to become a weatherman on the television to share his passion with the world, and make it into something that could be directly useful to a lot of people every day.

He's still currently in college to achieve that.
