Hoops the Squirrel

An incredibly talented fly-type extreme gear racer who's held back by her board. Very well-liked amongst the other competitors. Somewhat of a veteran amongst the ameteur racers, she's never been able to advance further up the ranks because she simply cannot afford a higher-quality board. Their board, Sugar Glider, isn't suited to their riding style & so they're forced to spend most of their effort using their skills to make up for the board's shortcomings.

She likes hard sweets because she enjoys chewing on them and keeps them in her hat. How doesn't it fall off? Idk it's magic

The Sugar Glider is a customised version of The Access. It allows any character that can utilise it to fly.
A pair of twin thrusters have been mounted to the back which provide greater acceleration and stronger boosts, however it comes at the cost of making the board much harder to handle.

The Sugar Glider Mk.II is a board that's gifted to Hoops by Nova and some other racers after the original Sugar Glider was badly damaged by another competitor during a race & it looked like Hoops would have to forfeit the next race.
